Dying to Run
This short story was easy to slip into. It takes place just weeks after Dead Running ends, and Checkett's easy going style is just as great as before.I was reminded of how much I liked Cassie and her quick wit. There is great tension through out, and I really LOVE the romance side too. Delicious! The best part? Detectives Fine and Shine and all the other fun nicknames are present and accounted for.
